The Diliman College Blue Dragons and the Letran Knights carved out double-digit wins over the weekend in the 16th Fr. Martin Cup Division 2 basketball tournament.
Joseph Brutas and MJ Enriquez showed the way for the Diliman College Blue Dragons in their 95-77 stopping of the La Consolacion College-Manila Blue Royals at the St. Placid gymnasium inside San Beda-Manila campus in Mendiola.
The multi-titled Blue Dragons, with Brutas providing 30 points and Enriquez eking out 23 points, marched to their fourth straight win with the Letran Knights in Group B.
Allen Mina and Jun Sullera made 12 and 11 points for the Knights in their 92-80 beating of the National University-A Bulldogs.
Enriquez struck hard in the first period, allowing the the Blue Eagles to take charge, 23-16, after 10 minutes.
The other week, Brutas unloaded 17 points in spearheading the Blue Eagles to 90-65, crushing of Arellano University.

In the junior division, the Diliman Preparatory School Baby Blue Dragons won by default over Rich Golden School Montessori, to remain in contention for the quarterfinals with their 3-1 record.”‹
