Sixty students from different public schools across Rizal Province recently came together to give San Mateo’s famous rice cakes a twist, making it a feast for both the tummy and the eyes. SM City San Mateo brought food art to the fore as it joined the town’s annual celebration of the Kakanin Festival by holding a culinary battle for the best art using ‘kakanin’ (rice cakes).
