Each modular tent has mats, blankets and pillows. The evacuation center has a breastfeeding area, a mobile shower and portable toilet trailer with three shower rooms and three ‘portalets,’ a mobile kitchen, and a water filtration system. The city government has also prepared food supplies and emergency packs containing eating utensils, thermal blankets, mats with aluminum insulation, and family-size mosquito nets. Makati has invested heavily in modern DRRM equipment for its advocacy on resilience and sustainability.
