The Civil Aviation Association of the Philippines (CAAP), led by Director General Capt. Jim Sydiongco personally recognized the seven (7) members of the airport’s security staff from the PNP-Aviation Security Unit 4 (PNP-AVSEU), CAAP Security and Intelligence Service (CSIS), Puerto Princesa Tourist Police, and Eaglematrix Security Agency who were instrumental for the return of the missing P1.5 million cash by passenger Danilo Dequito. The awardees include CAAP airport security assistant Jel Anthony M. Cervantes, PNP AVSEU 4 PO3 Widmark R. Briones, PNP AVSEU 4 PO1 Anabelle L. Guimbongan, Puerto Princesa Tourist Police Unit PO2 Leoniliza B. Bautista, Puerto Princesa Tourist Police Unit PO2 Job Arkhe T. Sancho III, Eagle Matrix security guard Jovani A. Yumen, and Eagle Matrix security guard Edgar B. Conde.
