Three overseas Filipino workers who were rescued from a prostitution den in Malaysia received help from Senator Cynthia Villar (right), a known advocate of the rights and welfare of migrant workers. They thanked the senator for the financial assistance and the sari-sari store start-up kit given to them when they met in the Senate. Radio dzRH referred the OFWs case to Villar and the Villar SIPAG foundation, where the lawmaker sits as director. Villar asked the OFWs to avail of free trainings from Tesda, farm schools, and other learning sites for livelihood opportunities.
