Manila Cockers Club Inc., the country’s cockfighting industry game changer, awarded three champions during its recently concluded 57th 7-Cock Breeders Festival, namely Boss Brothery by Henry Chua and Allen Lim; Docs Partner by Dr. Henry Fajardo and Dr. Biboy Lazaro; and Redbull by Atty. The month of July features an exciting roster of derbies slated at the Cockers Arena. Interested breeders are invited to join the club’s upcoming events on July 13 to 19 (61st 7-Cock Derby) and July 25 to 31 (62nd 7-Cock Derby). All derbies will follow a 3-4 format, requiring a minimal fee of P8,888 per entry. The contest is open to all cocks and bullstags with a weight limit of 1,800 to 2,400 kilograms. MCC does not require any minimum bet nor membership fee to its participating breeders. A generous purse of P2.620 Million pesos (distributed) will be awarded to the winners.
