Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco is flanked by winners of the first Navoteño Photo Competition and Exhibition themed “#NavoTaAsNooBabae: Karapatan ng mga Kababaihan, Ipaglaban.” Among the winners are Rasalhaque V. Caseñas, for his entry, “Hangganan”; Philip Arriega for “Galing ng Babaeng Navoteño”; and Erika Faminial for “Bakal-Bote”. They received P10,000, P7,000, and P5,000 in cash prizes, respectively. Online winner Lucy dela Cruz won People’s Choice Award through online voting and received P5,000 cash prize. The city also gave P2,000 consolation prizes to 13 finalists and plaques of participation to all winners. Tiangco said the competition forms part of their 11th cityhood anniversary and to promote the protection of their rights and welfare.
