Rep. Prospero “Butch” Pichay of Surigao del Sur’s First District makes the ceremonial drive kicking off the 1st Butch Pichay Pro-Am Golf Tournament at the Veterans Golf Club on Saturday. The golfest, organized by the Pichay Initiative Foundation and the Professional Golfers Association of the Philippines, lured 72 teams and 144 amateur and professional golfers and was held for the benefit of Gawad Kalinga projects in Surigao del Sur. Some of the sponsors were CM Tan Construction, JM Luciano Construction, Equi-Parco Construction, ICAD Foundation and Vendeka, Puregold, CNC Mining and MR1.
