What students look forward to in SY 2018-2019

Many students grimace over the fact that it’s time to leave the beach and start another year full of stress on school works and examinations, among others. Nevertheless, there are many things to be excited about the opening of classes. So we asked the incoming high school and college students what they look forward to the most when classes start.

I am looking forward to discovering the difference between the lives of a junior high student to a senior high student and also what senior high has to offer for the new generation of incoming grade 11 students. – Luke Eidref Berja, 17, senior high school

Incoming Filipino high school and college students are looking forward to learning new things and enjoying fun experiences. 

For the incoming school year, I am looking forward to maximizing my abilities and gaining more skills that I can use for the career that I will choose. – Gian William Ramelb, 19, college 

As one of the officers in my broadcasting organization, I am looking forward to productions inside and outside the school. We will make the events bigger as a welcome for the incoming freshmen this semester. – Aira Mae Rebenito, 19, college

Every year students look forward to school activities and events, because pure studying can sometimes be a bit boring. I look forward to participating in such events and look forward to enjoying it. – Keziah Anne Mansia, 18, college

I am looking forward to seeing my classmates and teachers, to catching up with them and exchange stories. Also I would like to wear my new uniforms and use my new school supplies. – Luke Aga Berja, 14, high school

It's time for homework again as the classes are about to open. 

I am looking forward to having more knowledge about the strand I am about to take, more experiences since I am about to enter a university and will travel to school for the first time, more great friends since I’m going to transfer schools, and more religious knowledge since it’s my first time to enter a Catholic school. – Mary Gellain de Leon, 16, senior high school
