The Philippine will host the largest Uniqlo store in the country and in Southeast Asia, Japanese retail holdings company Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. announced over the weekend.
“We are honored and excited to open our first Uniqlo Global Flagship Store in the Philippines. Having been a member of the local retail scene since 2012, we remain committed to contributing to the local community and to being an integral part of Manila’s growth and future,” said Uniqlo chief executive for Southeast Asia and Oceania Satoshi Hatase.
The new store is expected to open within the third quarter in Glorietta 5, along Ayala Avenue in Makati City.
The new flagship store will be Uniqlo’s fifteenth in the world. Uniqlo stores represent the best and the latest of the brand, its LifeWear clothing and its famed customer service, all set in cutting-edge store design on a grand scale.
