Trisha Denise Montero had to take a break from cosplaying when she became a mom. But her love for makeup did not cease as she constantly posts makeup tutorial videos on her YouTube channel.
Her talent shone when she was crowned grand prize winner in the second year of Ever Bilena’s The Big Beauty Challenge.
The 24-year-old design graduate from Las Piñas wowed the judges—composed of Ever Bilena executives, namely key accounts manager Denise Sy-Muñez, marketing manager Olive Padilla, and brand manager Christel Roca—with her whimsical rendition of the theme “Extraterrestrial.”
In reports, she shared she used matte lipsticks, liquid eye liners, eye shadow shimmers, and prosthetics for her winning look.
Montero bested nine other aspiring makeup artists. She took home P70,000 cash and P30,000 worth of Ever Bilena makeup products.
“I’m very grateful to have a family who supports my passions. Winning The Big Beauty Challenge will give me the opportunity to go back to cosplaying and support my family at the same time,” she shared.
Hajie Alejandro received P30,000 for winning first runner-up while Zjhay Taupan got P15,000 as second runner-up. Katherine Catiis won the special People’s Choice Award and P20,000 in cash.
The Big Beauty Challenge, now on its second year, encourages students, aspiring, and professional makeup artists to create a tutorial on how to achieve a complete makeup look following a specific theme and using only Ever Bilena products.
