BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya—Close to 200 jail inmates here recently received free medical, dental and legal services from the Pugad Lawin sa Vizcaya radio communications group.
The assistance was offered under the outreach program dubbed “A Day with the Inmates” at the Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Jail in this town.
Provincial prosecutor Eufrocinia Dumlao, PL president, said the free services are being given to ensure the health, well being and assist them on their legal cases in courts.
She added that they will also adopt a lowly inmate needing various assistance from their organization.
PL also provided free t-shirts to the inmates including free meals and snacks during the activity.
Dumlao also said they will provide additional needs of the inmates such as sports materials and games to keep them healthy and fight boredom inside their jails.
“Rest assured that we will give these assistance so that you can use them productively while staying in this jail,” she said.
