Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Roy Cimatu receives the latest issue of the Water Environment Journal which has for its cover story the ongoing saga of Boracay and other relevant stories affecting the water and environment sectors in the Philippines. Shown handling a copy of the WEJ to Cimatu is Maynilad AVP for Government Relations Anette H. de Ocampo who also took up with the DENR chief Maynilad’s Water Services Inc. decision to earmark P1.7 billion budget this year to boost the company’s sewerage coverage within its concession area aimed at mitigating soil and water pollution due to direct discharge of untreated wastewater from Metro Manila households.
