FORMER two-time Most Valuable Player Kiefer Ravena will soon be practicing with the La Salle Green Archers.
But, hey, Ravena won’t be playing for the Green Archers in the coming 81st season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines men’s basketball tournament.
Ravena said in an online interview with the official school paper that he will be taking a master’s degree in communications in La Salle and that he has already used up his playing years while with the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
Now playing with NLEX Road Warriors, Ravena will take part in the Green Archers’ scrimmages as a practice player after getting the nod of Green Archers’ coach Louie Gonzales.
“I talked with coach (Gonzales), puwede naman daw. So, siguro, I can go play before and after my classes,” said Ravena.
Ravena said his is looking to having scrimmages with regulars Kib Montalbo and Aljun Melecio, his counterpart as a point guard. Peter Atencio
