Meanwhile, SM City San Mateo dimmed its mall lights for an hour in observance of the global effort, led by assistant mall manager Raymond Bonifacio, San Mateo Councilor Norbie Rivera, SM City San Mateo mall manager and Rizal Board Member Rommel Ayuson.
At SM City Taytay, dancers wear LED lights to form a Wi-Fi signal after the switch off. The mall participated by switching off half its lights for 60 minutes.
