DUATHLON CHAMP. Standard Insurance Duathlete Monica Torres recently won the ASTC Asian Middle Distance Duathlon Championship at the World Series Powerman in Putrajaya, Malaysia, besting all other Asian in the competition. She also placed third overall behind 70.3 champion Hungary’s Anna Eberthatdt-Galasz and World Duathlon Championships silver medalist Miriam Van Reijen of The Netherlands.
