Touted to be the largest hotel in the country's southern region, Hotel 101-Davao will rise in a 5,300-sq.m prime commercial corner lot located at Eco West Drive in the highly-urbanized Davao City.
It will have 519 hotel rooms, a commercial and retail strip, and facilities to cater to conventions and events.
The subsidiary of DoubleDragon Properties Corp has recently awarded the contract to build the hotel through a joint venture project with Davao-based W2JP2 Corp.
Earlier, the Hotel 101 Group kicked off 2018 with an appreciation party for their top accounts, corporate bookers, and partners at the poolside of Hotel 101-Manila near the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
Hotel 101 Group’s top 5 accounts from Injap Tower Hotel Iloilo were flown to Manila to be recognized in the evening’s program, together with top accounts from Jinjiang Inn-Ortigas, Jinjiang Inn-Makati, and Hotel 101-Manila.
“DoubleDragon, our parent company which is known for its aggressive vision in any industry it ventures, extends a similar attitude towards the hospitality sector,” Group General Manager Lei Apostol said.
“Soon we will have a Hotel 101 at the Fort and in Davao, a Jinjiang Inn in Bohol, and an additional Jinjiang Inn in Boracay, and other hotels in key cities and destinations in the Philippines,” she added.
