La Salle-Zobel wins 17-U title

LANCE Barcuma made 16 points for La Salle-Zobel as they turned back Chiang Kai Shek College, 58-43, to win the 17-under crown of the Milcu-Got Skills Elite Basketball  Showcase at the Lyceum Philippines university last Nov 25.

Joshua Tolentino sank 11 points for the CKSC Dragons, who trailed by seven in the first period.

The Junior Archers were able to limit the Dragons by four in the second period, and this gave them a 28-11 halftime edge.

Meanwhile, the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons will have a twice-to-beat edge over the Letran Knights in their coming under-25 semifinals encounter.

Don Bosco Technical Institute meets Passion Basketball in the under-12 semis action.
