PLDT Inc. said its enterprise segment grew 11 percent in terms of sales to P25.3 million in the first nine months from a year ago, boosted by data and information and communication technology services.
The country’s largest telecom attributed the increase to the 15-percent growth in revenues from data and ICT services to P16 billion. It said all product lines registered double-digit increases, with ICT revenues showing the heftiest increase of 23 percent.
“We are continuing to grow where it matters the most,” Eric Alberto, PLDT chief revenue officer and executive vice president said, adding that revenues from data and ICT accounted for 63 percent of PLDT’s enterprise business in January to September.
Revenues from enterprise voice and text grew 6 percent year-on-year and accounted for the remaining 37 percent, with nearly P9.3 billion in revenues as of end-September.
“We are now enabling even more large companies, the outsourcing industry, the public sector, and small and medium enterprises not just with reliable connectivity and basic telco services but relevant and competitive data-driven solutions that help them achieve success and better serve their customers,” Alberto said.
PLDT Enterprise continues to team up strategically with key market leaders to push new offerings for large enterprises, the BPOs, SMEs and national and local government units.
“Our continued investments in both technology and expertise have allowed us to win the confidence of our enterprise customers. We tirelessly work with them not as service providers but as true business partners who are enabling their pursuit of success,” said Juan Victor Hernandez, senior vice president and head of PLDT and Smart Enterprise.
