CABARROGUIS, Quirino—A responsive master plan for the Cagayan river basin is being pushed by officials of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in the region to protect, conserve and sustain its water quality supply.
DENR Regional Director Gil Aromin said the implementation of the more than P100-million Climate Responsive Integrated River Basin Management and Development Masterplan by the Cagayan River Basin Management Council is crucial to address flooding and provide a sustainable supply of water for the country.
