She’s not just an excellent actress and outstanding artist. She’s also a shooter! Yes, Heart Evangelista-Escudero is as nimble with a paintbrush as she is also quick with a gun and as precise when hitting a target.

“Please excuse the getup! Impromptu practice shooting at the Kasanggayahan Firing range with Maning Frivaldo and the hubby,” Heart captions her Instagram photo while in her shooting gear of white polo and black shooter’s pants.

Senator Chiz Escudero encouraged her to take up target shooting when they were at the Kasanggayah Firing range once.

Her followers in the social media have been asking, what can’t she do in this world?

Considering her busy schedule as an actress and the time when she promotes My Korean Jagiya, she still manages to squeeze in painting while doing all the preliminaries before launching her home and clutch line.

Heart confirmed Maison Love Marie is really pushing through.

“I am working on two major things: my home line [with] plates and candles, and my clutch line, which is gonna be so nice! I am designing everything and we are making things happen.

“I’ve been working on this for almost two years now. It’s not easy, but I want quality,” says Heart in an interview with an online magazine.

“I am already looking for an office and starting to hire more people to help me out. This is it! It’s going to be a company, and I think this is the best decision I have ever made,” she added.

Heart just arrived from Japan where she met personally Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

“It’s such an honor to meet Prime Minister Shinzo Abe,” Heart said of the Japanese leader in an Instagram post.

Heart is also the Filipina ambassador or the luxury brand Carolina Herrera that recently established its presence in the country.

Then she traveled again to her husband’s province, Sorsogon in the Bicol region. “I’m over the moon happy for my CPA (Cerebral Palsy Association) angels. Finally, there is a center here in #Sorsogon that will cater to their needs in a more proper environment. My husband Chiz facilitated the construction of the CPA centers, and we inaugurated it a few days ago with Nanay Evie, the doctors and other officials. It’s such a big blessing to do this with them as well as my family here in Sorsogon! Ang saya kong nagkita-kita na tayo ulit! Sana, mas marami pang makapagpa-konsulta at magpatingin dito. Maituturing niyong pangalawang tahanan itong center. Mahal namin kayo.”

With all this, does she ever think of how she and her husband can have a baby of their own? As she always says, “It will come…it will come!”

Recently, Kapamilya diehards were treated to a morning filled with love and celebration as Bianca (Kim Chiu) and Gabriel (Gerald Anderson) finally tied the knot in the Kapamilya morning series Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin.

A scene from the late morning series, "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin"

It was the most magical day for Bianca and Gabriel as their dreams of being together forever finally came true, with their loved ones in full attendance to show love and support for their union.

But the occasion also turned emotional as the two exchanged their wedding vows and reminisced all the struggles they faced just to be with each other.

“Bianca, you are the first person that made my heart beat. You helped me reach my dreams. But my biggest dream is you, and to build a family with you,” said Gabriel.

“Gabriel, I want to thank you because you had not given up on me since we first met. I promise to God and to all the people we love that I will be your companion and your ally against every obstacle that will come our way,” said Bianca.

Bianca and Gabriel’s relationship was put to test several times by the sins of the past involving their parents Maila (Bing Loyzaga) and Rigor (Daniel Fernando), that also forced them to part ways. They also gave love another shot when they met new people such as Percy (JC Santos) and Alex (Arci Muñoz), who helped them heal their broken hearts. However, despite living life away from each other, their love still prevailed and brought them back together.

Meanwhile, viewers nationwide also showed their support for Bianca and Gabriel’s much-awaited wedding as the series won in national TV ratings. On Nov. 6, the show recorded a national TV rating of 17.9 percent, compared to The Lolas’ Beautiful Show that only got 7.2 percent, according to data from Kantar Media.
