The Philippine Business for Social Progress recently conducted its fourth relief operations for people affected by the Marawi City conflict. With the help of volunteers (pictured) PBSP managed to distribute 1,047 non-food items (with plastic plates, cups, culinary utensils and health kits), 4,300 student kits and bags (with shirts, towels and a pair of slippers), 40 boxes of storybooks, reference materials and learning materials, and 50 sewing machines. This will be part of livelihood interventions for the early recovery of internally displaced persons in Marawi. Manny Palmero
