Transport groups led by Piston and other commuters groups under the No to Jeepney Phaseout Coalition announced in a press conference in Quezon City on Monday that they will hold a two-day nationwide transport strike on Oct. 16-17 2017 to demand the junking of the Duterte’s administration PUJ Phase-out program that they claim would massacre the livelihood of over 600,000 PUJ drivers and operators.
