BAGUIO CITY—The Cordillera office of the Philippine Statistics Authority on Wednesday said the region saw P3.3 billion worth of new private construction works in 2016, covering 1,202 jobs with a total area of 300,066 square meters.
The PSA-CAR data showed 938 new buildings were erected for dwelling purposes, comprising 77.8 percent of the total private building construction in the region last year, with a total value of P2 billion and a total floor area of 198,224 square meters.
