GENERAL TRIAS CITY—Cavite Gov. Jesus Crispin ‘Boying’ Remulla on Monday led the turnover of two ambulances and 50 closed circuit television cameras to the local government led by Mayor Antonio “Ony” Ferrer during the regular morning flag ceremony at the city esplanade here.
Remulla joined his brother, former governor Jonvic Remulla, and Cavite 6th District Rep. Luis “Jon Jon” Ferrer in handing over the keys of the ambulances to Barangay Tejero Chairman Jon Jon Cruz and Barangay Santiago Chairman Rolando Pagkaliwangan.
The 50 CCTV units were distributed to teachers representing schools and officers of local homeowners’ associations.
The units aim to enhance the emergency response capabilities of the city’s barangays and to increase security in schools and residential areas. Other barangays of the city are expected to receive their ambulances soon from the capitol.
Also present at the ceremony were Cavite 6th District Provincial Board Member Felix “Jango” Grepo, CCL President Kerby Salazar, Vice Mayor Maurito Sison, and city councilors Christopher Custodio, Walter Martinez, Gary Grepo, Pafoo Lozares, Hernando Granados, Jowie Sinsay Carampot, Jonas Glyn Porto Labuguen, Mario Amante, Florencio Ayos and Liga ng Barangay President Constancia Felizardo.
