Cancer-stricken children join their parents and relatives in thanking businessman Hans Sy (seated, in pink shirt) and other donors of Childhaus, which marked its 14th year of sheltering and supporting over 15,000 cancer patients who are undergoing treatment in various government hospitals nationwide. The children serenaded Sy – who was celebrating his birthday – along with his wife Carol Sy and other benefactors at the center on Agoncillo Street in Paco, Manila, their home for the last two years after Childhaus moved from its original venue in Quezon City.
