ORANI, Bataan—In celebration of its 45th anniversary, the Orani District Hospital held a fun run that saw hundreds of runners on Saturday.
“Our celebration is actually during the whole month of August with many activities, and this fun run is just one of them,” said hospital head Dr. Hector Santos. “We will go to Orion for a feeding program later.”
“Despite the not-so-good weather we will go on with the fun run, and there will be 3km, 5km, and 10km distances,” Santos added.
Orani Councilor Maya Bongco, the chairperson of the municipal council’s Committee on Health, joined the 3k run.
“The Orani District Hospital through the leadership of Dr. Santos is very supportive to the health initiatives of the municipal government of Orani,” Bongco said. “The complaints to the hospital are a thing of the past since Dr. Santos took the helm a year ago.”
Hospital Administrator Anacel Ramos said Orani Runners helped conduct the fun run.
