One dead after bus crushes motorcycle

TUGUEGARAO CITY—One person was killed when a sleeper bus of G.V. Florida Transport Inc. collided head on with a motorcycle—which set the bus on fire—in Barangay Gosi Sur here early Tuesday morning.

Authorities identified the fatality as Noriel Christian Parallag,  a project architect at AAP Custom Designs and Innovations and a graduate of B.S. Architecture at the University of Saint Louis, Tuguegarao, according to his Facebook account.

Parallag died after his motorcycle rammed the bus traveling the Manila-Cagayan Valley route at high speed. Police and fire marshals are still determining how the impact sent the bus up in flames.
