BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya—Several road projects funded by the national government’s Conditional Matching Grant Program here are about to be completed before the year ends.
Engineer Manolo Norial, provincial engineer, said the road projects, spread out to eight municipalities, have a total funding of P234.3 million.
From this fund, about P60 million was allocated to Cagayan Valley Road Diadi Junction-Escoting-Arwas-Talictic in Diadi town, P42.2 million for the Oyao-Ganao road in Dupax del Norte town, about P30 million for the CVR Kinacao-Kurasay-Kinalabasa road in Bagabag town and the CVR Batu-Magapuy, Paitan road in Bayombong town.
About P24 million was also allocated for the San Fernando-Sto. Niño-Manaing-Banao-Litlit road in Bambang town and P14.5 million each for CVR Nagsabaran-Decabacan-Ampakleng road in Diadi town, Banganan-Tucanon-Tabueng road in Aritao town and Junction National Bua-Bulala-Macabenga road in Dupax del Sur town. A total of P8.5 million was also allocated to Junction Galintuja-Balintugon road in Dupax del Sur town.
“The total actual release amounts to P234,240,157.67, which covered 18,354.90 meters of provincial road in the province, with a savings of about P8.5 million,” Norial said.
CMGP is formerly the Konkreto at Ayos na Lansangan at Daan Tungo sa Pangkalahatang Kaunlaran (KALSADA) project of former President Benigno Aquino III, which is being continued by the administration of President Rodrigo R. Duterte through the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
