Aritao eyes P15-m multi-use building

ARITAO, Nueva Vizcaya—The local government here will be building a P15 million multi-purpose building to promote economic growth and peace among its villagers.

Vice Mayor Ruben Sayo said the project is one of the investment opportunities the municipality will offer for hosting two major alternate roads to Baguio City and Metro Manila.

“This public project will be built within our town’s growth center to boost our economic potential,” he said.

The town serves as a shortcut entry point to Baguio through the Vizcaya-Benguet road and leads toward Metro Manila via Carranglan, Nueva Ecija, especially during lengthy traffic jams along the Dalton Pass area in Sta. Fe town.

Sayo said a public terminal for buses will also be built to help commuters deal with lengthy trips outside and within the Cagayan Valley region.
