CLARK FREEPORT, Pampanga —Instead of going to hospitals in Metro Manila, patients in Central Luzon and from this province can now avail of better medical services with affordable price through The Medical City Clark, its sales and marketing director said Tuesday.
“We have complete facilities and equipment to deal with any kind of disease, including our state-of-the-art suite hybrid cath lab,” declared Evelyn Luciano-Yumul.
The hybrid cath laboratory, the first in Central and Northern Luzon, is the hospital suite that brings together the traditional diagnostic functions of a full catheterization lab and the surgical functions of an operating room, turning it into one flexible space, Yumul said
Other specializations and expertise offered by The Medical City Hospital, Yumul said, are cardiovascular, burns, stroke, cancer, and other treatments supported by modern equipment and technology.
During a media forum, Yumul dispelled the belief that the 150-bed hospital located at the Global Gateway Logistic City in Mabalacat City is only for the rich and famous.
“This is a misconception, in fact we have established a free shuttle service for patients who don’t have cars but want to avail our medical services,” Yumul stressed.
The free shuttle located near the flagpole of SM City Clark is available Monday to Saturday except holidays from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., she added.
According to Yumul, foreigners, balikbayans and the public can avail of their medical services, as they have ties with several insurance companies in the United States, European Union and Canada.
She also said Medical City Clark is 15 to 20 percent cheaper than other hospitals in Metro Manila, and its services are patterned after American standards.
Established three years ago, the hospital has been answering the medical needs of the people of the region, Yumul said.
