DOTr reveals first five stations of Manila-Clark railway project

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced today (June 23) the first five stations that will form part of the 106-kilometer railway project that will connect Manila to Central Luzon.

From Manila in Tutuban, Divisoria, the next stations will be in Caloocan, Valenzuela, Meycauayan and Marilao Bulacan.

“GOOD NEWS: Traveling from Manila to Clark in 55 minutes is now within reach,” said the title of DOTr’s Facebook post.

The DOTr said that it will put the marks on the said sites on Monday (June 26) to kick-start the project that will have the Clark in Mabalacat City Pampanga as the final station.

“DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade said that the Manila-Clark Railway Project is one of the high-impact projects of President Rodrigo Duterte under the government's BUILD BUILD BUILD program,” said the agency’s Facebook post.

The department has estimated that the project will benefit around 350,000 passengers daily or 10.5 million passengers a month on its first year of operation.
