Ferrer lauds GenTri ‘Brigada’ volunteers

GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite—The spirit of volunteerism is alive in the newest city of the Philippines during the weeklong Brigada Eskwela 2017 held from May 15 to 21, with strong public and private partnership.

Mayor Antonio “Ony” Ferrer led the volunteer effort with the private sector, teachers, students and parents in cleaning, painting, and fixing public elementary and high school rooms in preparation for the June 5 opening of the 2017-2018 school year.
