CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna—Two suspected drug pushers are dead following separate anti-illegal drugs operations here.
In Rosaflor Subdivision, Barangay Tagapo, Santa Rosa City, a certain alias Onad was killed after the buy-bust operation turned into an armed encounter at 2:30 a.m. on Monday.

In Calamba City, suspected drug pusher Jonhlee Alcantara was killed after a buy-bust operation in Barangay Real at 2:45 a.m. also on Monday.
Sta. Rosa City Chief of Police Supt. Joel Estaris said Onad drew his firearm and fired shots after he sensed he was dealing with a police officer acting as a poseur-buyer.
Meanwhile, Calamba City Chief of Police Supt. Fernando Ortega said Alcantara is included in the drug watchlist of PNP Directorate for Intelligence.
