Mayor Jaime Fresnedi (second from left) leads the unveiling of a marker for a heritage tree located in Alabang Elementary School last April 25, conducted in celebration of the local governmentís 100th Founding Anniversary. Through a memorandum of agreement between the local government and Department of Environment and Natural Resources, the 110-year-old mango tree in Alabang will be included in the environmental agencyís heritage tree conservation program to place limits on its removal and for its protection.
