School is out, but that doesn’t mean kids have to stop learning or being creative. Summer vacation is fast approaching.
It’s that time of the year when we want our kids to enhance their skills and talents, to learn something new and continue to grow by enrolling them in summer classes.
It will not only keep them busy, but also foster new friendships and continuously develop their talents as well.
Imagine a total of 1600 sqm of studio space, well-established ballet syllabus, highly experienced and award winning teachers, and an atmosphere that is filled with love and passion for dance.
The Halili-Cruz School of Dance (HCSD), with Artistic Director Shirley Halili Cruz and Associate Directors Grace Perez and Anna Halili Cruz Bueno, has lined up different dance courses for the kids and the kids at heart which they can take up this summer – Halili-Cruz School of Ballet for classical ballet and the Halili-Cruz Conservatory for jazz, hip hop, tap, lyrical and contemporary.
All the dance courses offered are syllabus based. To enhance the students’ capabilities, HCSD invited guest teachers from Russia and England to conduct master classes during this intensive summer dance program.
The courses offered in this summer intensive will surely open doors to remarkable new possibilities for learning. It would definitely help the students to dance, move, act, imagine and realize.
The summer dance workshop will run until May 20 and will culminate with a concert entitled Summer Dance Divertissement 2017 at Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila on May 27.
