Four policemen are killed in an ambush by suspected members of the New People’s Army (NPAs) in Davao del Sur.
The attack happened at Barangay Sibayan, Bansalan town at about 7 am on Wednesday.

The cops were on board a PNP Patrol vehicle and they were wearing scene-of-the-crime or SOCO uniforms as they were on responding to a reported shooting incident.
Another policeman was wounded in the ambush.
This information was confirmed by Bansalan Police Station.
Pursuit operations against the suspects are ongoing.
