Japanese Ambassador Kazuhide Ishikawa welcomes 333 Filipino nurses and caregivers to the start of Nihongo language studies that will enable them to live and work in Japan under the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement of 2006. The Filipinos will depart for Japan in June 2017 and undergo another six months of Japanese language training there.
