SPO3 Arturo Lascañas is appearing at the Senate hearing on Committee on Justice to say that the so-called ‘Davao Death Squad’ (DDS) is just a hype.
Lascañas was among those named by self-confessed killer Edgar Matobato as a leader of the DDS.

Lascañas testifies, his ties with Matobato were limited to the sale of some properties in the past when he acted as a real estate broker.
He also described Matobato as a liar.
Senator Leila De Lima continues her questioning of Lascañas, who is set to retire soon.
