Makati Mayor Abby Binay directed Makati chief of police Supt. Rommil Mitra to extend police protection to the family of Maria Remedios Pedrano, an employee of Solaire who was gunned down in Barangay West Rembo. Mitra, who accompanied Mayor Binay and Second District Rep. Luis Campos to Pedrano’s wake, also told the family that the police already have a suspect and are conducting follow-up operations.
