Maine Mendoza
Everybody is convinced she no longer needs an introduction. Maine’s astronomic rise to stardom is something other artists could only dream of. But on the flipside, she is getting crushed under the pressure of sudden success – expectations are high and all eyes on her scrutinizing whatever she does. In all fairness to AlDub’s other half, she delivers and we don’t see her star waning down anytime soon. Not just yet.
Ian Veneracion
He is 41 and still looks almost exactly the same 10 years ago. If you put him side by side with younger actors in an audition, Ian would easily get the part and that wouldn’t be a hard decision for the casting director make. Like his older pal Richard Yap, aging works pretty well with them. Perhaps working with Jodi Sta. Maria comes along with a secret potion that makes them look young and very much likeable.
TJ Marquez
The struggling young actor seems to find a new life in a rather unexpected place. From a middling bit player on TV, TJ is making numerous appearance on Indonesian TV shows, not to mention starring in his own movie and TV series. In fact, he’s already considered a big star in Indonesia maintaining a number of loyal following.

Hay Bahay!
In ratings game, some start out strong and end up losing viewers over time, while others just can’t make it work in even on their debut on the boob tube. The latter case best describes GMA-7’s latest sitcom starring Vic Sotto, Oyo Boy Sotto, his wife Kristine Hermosa and so-called Comedy Queen AiAi delas Alas. AGB Nielsen and TNS Kantar Media don’t usually agree with their ratings data, but surprisingly, both ratings provider say that wherever the sitcom stands now, things aren’t looking good.
Pia Wurtzbach
Without consulting an expert and even by just asking a five-year-old kid, it’s easy to say that she looks dangerously thin. And by dangerous, we mean something is wrong about the way she looks which we feel is not so healthy. She’s become a role model to a lot of full-figured women because of her not-so-usual curves winning the Miss Universe crown. She won the title for being curvaceous, and we hope she stays that way because her sudden weight loss is just disturbing.
Marian Rivera
Her morning program Yan Ang Morning! is shown in a timeslot when its target audience is not really watching TV. If nobody noticed, this talk show is nothing but a filler and that’s not a good way to treat someone who is called their “Primetime Queen.” Perhaps her network is finding it difficult to find her a project that will suit her age. Well, that’s understandable.
