Character actor Rez Cortez tells his friends that he found a baby abandoned in his garage on Jan. 15.
The actor has four children with wife Candy, yet embraced the foundling as their own as they feel it was a belated Christmas gift from God.

They named the child Cassandra Grace, like Grace Poe who is also a foundling before she was adopted by Fernando Poe, Jr. and Susan Roces.
Until now, no one has claimed the baby, said Cortez.
Cortez is inspired by what Da King and Susan did when they adopted the baby now running to be President of the country.
He supported FPJ’s candidacy in 2004. Now, he is supporting Grace’s bid in the coming elections in May.
