Already the leading homegrown luxury hotel group in the Philippines, The Discovery Leisure Company, Inc. is again taking a step further in digital transformation and customer service, with the introduction of the revolutionary auto-agent chatbot. This makes TLDCI the first homegrown hotel group in the country to utilize on-page AI technology as part of its award-winning customer service program.
Auto-Agent, an automated website chatbot created to help hoteliers provide an elevated quality service 24/7, is already being utilized in hotels abroad. Powered by Triptease, a UK-based tech solutions company that empowers hotels to recapture guest relationships from Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and increase direct bookings. Guests can therefore expect immediate, high quality responses when chatting online, even when hotel staff are engaged or are not immediately available.
“Here at the Discovery Leisure Company, we’ve always believed that complementary to our superb, personalized service is the utilization of the latest technologies available,” says Blessy Townes, Group Director, Digital Marketing, TDLCI. “As such, we always keep abreast of the latest trends in the global hotel and hospitality industry.”
TDLCI is a proud pioneer among local hotels in the digital marketing space with its successful Independence Day Sale, Black Friday and 11.11 online promotional initiatives. In recognition of this, Townes has been invited as speaker at the Digital Travel Asia-Pacific and Direct Booking Summit Asia-Pacific, in Singapore next year. Both events will gather various hoteliers from the region to share their expertise and learn from other experts in the industry.
“The roll-out of the Auto-Agent chatbot service as part of our progressive digital transformation will truly take our already superior brand of service to a whole new level, providing for a great Customer Experience (CX) like never before,” says Townes.
The Auto-Agent chatbot will be available on Discovery Shores Boracay, Club Paradise Palawan, Discovery Suites, and Discovery Primea websites.
