SM Foundation expands its technical/vocational scholarship program for schoolyear 2018 as 80 SM tech-voc scholars were welcomed at the MFI Polytechnic Institute where they are pursuing training in various fields of specialization.
SM Foundation’s technical-vocational scholarship program gives the scholars the opportunity of a quicker two-year technical-vocational course in areas with great demand in the market.
SM tech-voc scholars can pursue specialization in the areas of Food and Beverage, Automobile Mechanic, Fitter Machinist, Electro-Mechanical Technician, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Small Arc Welding and Electromechanics. They enjoy full tuition subsidy, on the job internship, and referral to industry partners after graduation.
The Foundation supports 2,000 tech-voc scholars enrolled in partner schools throughout the country.
MFI Polytechnic Institute Inc. is an education service provider of career-oriented and technology-related programs for more than 40 years. It offers over 50 short-term technical courses such as automotive/civil, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, automotive/refrigeration, and air-conditioning.
