FASTECH Advanced Assembly Inc., Philippines and Focused Test Inc. announce that they have entered into an agreement to start the manufacture of a line of power discrete and analog IC ATE. This move brings FTI closer to its customers in Asia and establishes a second strategic manufacturing site in addition to its present headquarters located in Boulder Colorado USA.
Fastech, based in Laguna Province, Philippines, is currently one of the country’s well established Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test companies which along with its corporate affiliate the Center for Microelectronics Development, offers a unique set of resources and capability. Fastech’s long manufacturing experience and broad portfolio in power semiconductor device manufacturing for silicon, SiC and GaN devices together with CMD’s development and laboratory capability in microelectronics, can greatly help its customers like FTI provide a flexible manufacturing set up, development of custom ATE solutions and provide a close-to-market service response.
Fastech, operates in the OSAT industry in the Philippines. It produces various discrete and integrated circuits packages for power, analog and sensor applications. About Center for Microelectronics Development
CMD provide customers access to a unique combination of resources such as laboratories, people and EDA software tools. The CMD has a school-campus based laboratory located adjacent to the First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities (FAITH) in Tanauan City Batangas. It works closely with FAITH’s School of Technology Engineering department. Started in 2012, the CMD has grown and has become a key source of “sought-after” trained IC design engineers. It has since then formally opened its services to the industry and partner companies from 2016.
