A total of 16 public schools in San Fernando, Pampanga, have launched their official websites, thanks to a collaboration between the city’s Department of Education Division Office and GDI Online Marketing, a respected digital marketing agency also based in San Fernando.
The schools previously didn’t have much online presence but are now fully equipped to be part of the global community through their newly launched official websites, which were developed free of charge by GDI. The public elementary and integrated schools that were given websites were the following:
Telabastagan Integrated School
Dela Paz Norte Elementary School
Dela Paz Sur Elementary School
The websites are designed to be virtual information centers that will serve the children, their parents, the educators and all other stakeholders. Through these websites, users will be able to access various details like the school’s location, program information, announcements and accomplishments. In the future, DepEd and GDI also plan to develop the websites into platforms of interactive learning that will ultimately enrich the students’ learning experience.
Glen Dimaandal, CEO of GDI Online Marketing, notes that developing the school websites is part of his company’s advocacy of enhancing the quality of education for local students. “We are elated to have been part of this community project,” he says. “Internet literacy skill is essential in today’s world, and we are happy to help bring it to some of the public schools in Pampanga.”
