BAGUIO CITY—The newly recommended City Director of the Baguio City Police Office has assured local officials and residents of the “intensified services” of Baguio’s Finest to achieve the city’s goal of  lasting peace that will contribute to sustainable economic growth.

Senior Superintendent Ramil L. Saculles, recommended by the local screening committee as the permanent BCPO director, said the deliverables of the local police force include law enforcement and crime prevention services, and crime solution and investigation services with various program components geared toward peace in the city.

Under law enforcement and crime prevention, Saculles noted the inclusion of the creation of the Motorcycle Response Team that contributed to the reduction of response time in deterring crimes.

The “Oplan Cross Rider” will serve as a test for commanders in addressing high profile crimes in their areas of jurisdiction, the campaign against the presence of non-native beggars in the city, among other programs that ensure the police visibility, especially in the city’s 11 identified crime-prone areas.
