Former swimming chief Joseph dies

Mark Joseph, the former president of the Philippine Swimming, Inc. passed away recently.

Joseph, who headed the PSI for many years, was 56 when he died peacefully in his sleep in the United Kingdom.

“Mr. Joseph made a significant impact in Philippine swimming by promoting the sport at the grassroots level and by raising the Philippine swimming to international standards,” said current PSI president Lani Velasco.

Joseph left the PSI under the care of Velasco’s leadership back in 2016.
