THE much-awaited Arceegee X PYD Tatluhan Showcase finally hit the road last Sept. 22 and 23 with Nino Jesus House of Studies topping the Manila leg and Titan 8 ruling the Quezon Province stop.
NJHS defeated Team Oflear in the finals to emerge as the first champion in the four-part 3-on-3 competition organized by the Pinoy Youth Dreamers and sponsored by Arceegee, a fast-growing sportswear provider.
Jan Daniel Geronimo teamed up with KD Prolles, Juncel Nudo and Jhunerits Martin to lead NJHS to the championship in the tournament, which attracted 20 teams.
Geronimo was named Most Valuable Player.
Rinbert Galarde of Arceegee delivered the inspirational remarks during the opening ceremony also attended by PYD president Beaujing Acot.
In Quezon Province leg last Sept. 23, Titan 8 emerged as champion and Ameer Nikko Aguilar as MVP.
Chicoy Capistrano of Batis Aramin Hotel and Resort and Vino Veluz of Buddy’s Pancit Lucban hosted the one-day event, which drew teams from Lucena, Candelaria, Lucban, Tayabas, Cavite and Laguna

The overall champion will earn the right to represent the country in the Dreamers International 3on3 Basketball Challenge scheduled Nov. 2 to 4 in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
