Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo vower give it his best when he seeks a podium finish in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Yulo said he is polishing his moves and will be more prepared this time around.

“Pino-polish ko po iyung mga galaw para maabot iyung mga difficulties,” said the 24-year-old Yulo, who is continuously preparing at the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines training center in Intramuros, Manila.

He is set to leave for the Metz’ Training Camp on June 29 and won’t be part of the first batch of delegating that will be leaving for France this week.

Yulo spoke at the sendoff that was given him by his sponsors, sports betting company Arena Plus at the Brittany Hotel in Taguig City, along with his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose. Boxer Eumir Marcial was also feted by the sponsors.

His continuous preparation saw him competing at the 2024 Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships to finish with four gold medals last month.

Yulo ruled the vault and the parallel bars on the final day at the Gymnastics Sport Palace in Tashkent, Uzbekistan to finish with four golds in the competition.

He earlier won the individual all-around and the floor exercise, each time beating Kazakhstan’s Milad Karimi to the top of the podium.

In the vault, Yulo scored 14.883 to hold off home bet Abdulaziz Mirvaliev, who scored 14.783.

It is in the vault event, however, where Yulo is concentrating on his improvements.

“Hinahatak ko po ang aking mga executions sa vault,” added Yulo.
